Where is the retreats located?

Nestled in Guioness, Nosara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, our sanctuary offers a peaceful escape steps away from local shops and the coast. Designed by a renowned architect, this jungle oasis invites you to wake to the sounds of howler monkeys and vibrant birds. Relax by the pool or find stillness in our dedicated yoga and healing arts pavilion. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, butterflies, and exotic flora, this soulful space provides a perfect balance of modern comfort and natural beauty, ensuring you feel completely serene..

The closest international airport is Liberia (LIR). From there, we can arrange a private shuttle for you (approx. 2.5 hours), or you can take a domestic flight with Sansa Airlines directly to the Nosara airstrip.

How do I get to the retreat center?
Are classes suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. We specialize in discovering what becomes possible for everyone, regardless of experience. We offer modifications to ensure every practice is safely discovering balance and joy.

Are meals included in the retreat price?

Indulge in nourishing flavors throughout your stay. Every day begins with a breakfast of vibrant local fruits and premium Costa Rican coffee. Your package also includes select wholesome dinners crafted from organic ingredients by our private chef during a shared culinary experience. Can I come alone or do I need a partner?

Many of our guests travel solo! Our retreats are a wonderful way to meet like-minded people. We you are travelling solo, we will pair you up with an appropriate  room mate, to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible.

What does a typical day look like?

✓ Wake up with the sunrise if you choose and make the early   

     morning your own - a stroll along the beach, journalling, your

     personal yoga practice or morning meditation.  You could even

     book yourself a surf lesson.  Make this time your own.
✓ Enjoy a fresh organic breakfast at the retreat center overlooking

     the pool, or walk into town and try a hearty Nosaran breakfast -

     your way

✓ Morning scheduled practice (yoga/aerial yoga/pilates)

✓ Lunch and free time to explore Nosara, relax poolside, walk to the

    beach, journal, schedule a massage, infusion, tennis or pickleball   

    time - your options are unlimited

✓ Afternoon scheduled workshop or adventure opportunity

✓ Sunset - a Nosaran ritual that shouldn't be missed

✓ Dinner either on/offsite

Is there Wi-Fi at the sanctuary?

Yes, we have high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the compound. However, we encourage our guests to minimize their use of digital devices during their stay to fully immerse themselves in the retreat experience.

What should I pack for a retreat?

We recommend bringing comfortable movement wear, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and an open heart. All equipment like mats and blocks are provided at the sanctuary. See packing checklist for more detail.

While not strictly mandatory, we highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and medical coverage for your peace of mind.

Can I book a private session?

Private or semi-private sessions on the retreat can be booked directly through our inquiry form or email. 

What should I do if I have a physical injury?

Kindly let us know about any injuries or health needs before your arrival by including details in The Waiver. Our caring team will gladly adapt the practices to your body, ensuring you feel safe, supported, and nurtured as you move through your restorative and adventurous week with us.

What is the cancellation policty?

There are no refunds for this retreat. If we are able to fill your spot from the waiting list, we will gladly refund your payment. Because of this policy, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case your plans change.

What is the best time to visit Nosara?

Nosara is beautiful year-round. The dry season (December–April) offers endless sunshine, while the green season (May–November) brings lush and vibrant landscapes.  It feels like summer year-round in Nosara.
